Chloe Ashton is a student at the University of Hull who's carrying out remote work experience at sobananapenguin. In this blog post she looks at how technological developments have allowed digital design to become more popular.
It is 2020, of course a lot of things have become digital and are technology driven! Luckily due to the rapid increase in the development of technology we no longer live in times of slow internet (ok – maybe sometimes) and limited tech. Technology has impacted our lives vastly and influenced sleek virtual graphic design.
As we live in such advanced and connected times, it is not a surprise that design work has been widely moved online and is produced digitally. Widespread technology and internet access have allowed for modern design to create a better digital user experience contributing to a positive impact on businesses, a pleasant and fluent user experience, and eye-catching branding – and who doesn’t love a good piece of digital art?
This is a huge benefit for marketing and design companies also, as they are now able to create quality and detailed pieces whilst communicating with more clients, which certainly makes their jobs feel more efficient with the variety of tools and versatile software made available. The use of technology also makes the production of projects faster as clients can deliver feedback directly and quickly – definitely a helpful change!
There are so many positives for the creative industry provided by the tech-driven world, and yet technology advances are continuously developing! At least it provides a less stressful experience on the creator's behalf.
